INCLUDED
Everyone can make 20 to 30 cyanotypes. Paper up to DIN A4, photo chemicals and a large selection of photo motifs and inspiring things are ready for you to expose. Tea and coffee will be provided.
WHAT TO BRING
I'll provide paper in DIN A4 format. Otherwise you can bring paper up to 30 x 40 cm: Hahnemühle Nostalgie 190g (my recommendation) or other paper (150 - 300g). Colored paper can also produce interesting results. Everyone can make 20 - 30 blue prints.

Take this intensive course and learn to make cyanotypes in two days.
In the workshop we work with non-toxic photo chemicals and I will teach you all the basics of this simple and fascinating technique. We expose photo templates and objects 🌿🌸🍁 - it's about playing with light and shadow, the basics of photography. At the end of the workshop you will have made many cyanotypes of your own and can continue to work with the technique on your own at home. 🎯
COURSE PROCEDURE
DAY 1 (5 hours)
Introduction to technique and history, viewing of cyanotype examples
Demonstration of an exposure
Mixing the chemicals
Coating of paper (in the dark)
Exposing and developing your own cyanotypes (from here again in daylight)
DAY 2 (5 hours)
Expose and develop your own cyanotypes (after previous coating)
Toning of cyanotypes (*)
Cyanotypes on fabric (*)
Cyanotypes on glass (*)
(*) The course content of day two will be decided together. You may have to bring your own fabric or panes of glass.
