This cyanotype is part of a wall installation. For this, I made coasters light-sensitive by treating them with cyanotype chemicals, and then exposed them using various glasses, cups, and containers. The exposed results resemble planets or stars, and this effect is enhanced by the use of expired chemicals, as the oxidation process creates different color nuances and deposits.
At home, the cyanotype can be either attached directly to the wall or framed in a picture or object frame. Halbe magnetic frames are especially recommended for this purpose.
